We are lucky to have many staff who have been working long-term for Freshfields. We pride ourselves on recruiting local staff who understand the background of the residents and the community they are part of. Staff are our most important asset so we ensure that they are trained and supported to provide the best care they can to our residents. All our staff are important to us. We have a dedicated work force including carers, kitchen staff, domestic/utility staff, administrator and maintenance personnel all contributing to meeting the needs of our residents.

Training
All staff are trained to ensure they are able to carry out their duties, whatever their role at Freshfields. All staff have access to the training provided. Training is delivered either face to face or on-line. As well as completing the required mandatory training, staff also undertake specialist training to meet residents’ needs and accredited courses such as Care Diplomas at Levels 2, 3 and Management Level 5.
